People who are especially talented in the Strategic theme create alternative ways to proceed. Faced with any given scenario, they can quickly spot the relevant patterns and issues.
People who are especially talented in the Individualization theme are intrigued with the unique qualities of each person. They have a gift for figuring out how people who are different can work together productively.
People who are especially talented in the Relator theme enjoy close relationships with others. They find deep satisfaction in working hard with others to achieve a goal.
People who are especially talented in the Learner theme have a great desire to learn and want to continuously improve. In particular, the process of learning, rather than the outcome, excites them.
People who are especially talented in the Communication theme generally find it easy to put their thoughts into words. They are good conversationalists and presenters.
I completed the Gallup CliftonStrengths (TM) survey in 2017, and share the results of my signature themes report. Many years of research conducted by The Gallup Organization and Psychologist Donald O. Clifton suggest that the most effective people are those who understand their strengths and behaviors. These people are best able to develop strategies to meet and exceed the demands of their daily lives, their careers, and their families. I found the results of my survey both compelling and reassuring as I prepared to enter the UVEI Principal Intern Program, and now as I prepare to lead a school community toward shared vision and excellence.
